During this Event, Roche may capture your image, video, audio, likeness, statements/testimonials, etc. in the form of video recordings (“Materials”). At Roche, we take your privacy very seriously and hence, your consent is purely voluntary. If you allow us, we may -
Record your Materials including your name, likeness, voice, image, opinion regarding a particular product, etc. to be used by Roche in connection with the Event.
Use the Materials in any format for the following purposes: (a) to be published internally and shared with other Roche affiliates as part of the Event; (b) to be stored in the Roche Media Library for reference and records; and (c) to be compiled and shared with all attendees after the completion of the Event.
In case of certain select healthcare professionals, your name, voice, image, medical practice area, and opinion about Roche in ophthalmology, to be recorded, compiled and shared externally on Roche social media platforms.
You understand that Roche will have full usage rights (commercial and non-commercial) of the Materials on a global level, across all Roche internal and external media platforms, and you will not have the right to a preview or to make changes to any use of the Materials.

How We Protect Your Data
Roche implements appropriate technical and organizational measures to secure your personal data against loss, misuse, and unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, and destruction. Data security measures include data encryption and data access management and controls. Please be aware that despite these measures, no data security measures can guarantee 100% security. You should take steps to protect against unauthorized access to your phone and your computer by, among other things, signing off after using a shared computer, locking your phone and keeping your information private.
International Data Transfers
If your personal data is transferred across borders (including to the European Union or to other Roche affiliates), this will be done in compliance with applicable data protection laws.
